Chicago Recycling Pick Up

Saturday, May 1, 2010, 9AM – 12PM

            On Saturday, May 1, 2010, Alderman Tom Tunney and Mahogany Builders will team up will be collecting recyclables from highrise apartments on Sheridan Ave. in the Lakeview neighborhood. Recyclables will be dropped off at the Chicago Household Chemicals & Computer Recycling Facility (1150 N. North Branch).

The Alderman and Mahogany will be picking up the following items:

• Old or unused prescription & over the counter medications
• Oil-based paints (sealed)
• Lead acid batteries
• Drain cleaners
• Cleaning products
• Compact Fluorescent lamp & light bulbs
• Computers
• Cell phones
• Televisions 32” and smaller in size
