About Me:

Before becoming a contractor, husband & father, I was a corporate project manager. I learned a lot about details, managing complex and expensive projects, and making things happen on-time and on-budget. In all of my roles, these skills continue to serve me well!

I first became a “weekend re-modeler” while I was an owner of a small rental property. As my remodeling experience grew and grew, so did my projects. I began to contact several contractors for assistance. I was shocked at my discoveries! Most contractors didn’t even return my calls. I couldn’t believe it! Those that did offered seemingly arbitrary pricing, rattling off some ‘cost-per-square-foot’ figure. I wondered, how could they know the cost when they hadn’t even seen my space? Frustrated and disillusioned, I decided that I could do better.

I then began taking those first-steps, which ultimately led to the creation of Mahogany Builders. Now, after six years and hundreds of successful bath, kitchen, and interior projects, I am very happy to tout our accomplishments. We have done great work for so many clients. Nicest of all, many still call me, and many stop me on the street, just to say hello. What a feeling of satisfaction!

Further to my surprise, Mahogany is now gaining national recognition! Once a little-known secret, we have been featured on Home and Garden Television and numerous “best-of-class” websites. Little did I know we would come so far, so fast. Mostly, thanks to you.

Mahogany’s sales are driven almost exclusively by referrals. Thanks to our hard work and our very loyal customers, our sales continue to grow and grow.

While all of the accolades and success is great, we know the importance of remaining humble. We know that our continued success is completely dependent upon delivering you outstanding customer satisfaction each and every day. While it does get easier for us as time goes on, it never loses its importance. We continue to win, one customer at a time. And, we like it that way!
